No charsiu experience on the ramen ordered. It’s just very thinly sliced bits and pieces of meat, you wonder if they’re cost cutting on ingredients & sell it expensively. No king crab experience, contrary to what’s on the menu. It’s just imitation crab meat cut to a decent size, trying to convince customers it should be king crab meat. Pricey for an imitation crab meat. No service water provided while waiting. It should be on every restaurant’s decorum to serve refreshments while waiting for orders. No excuses. Talk about japanese hospitality resto. So-so japanese ambiance. Not inviting. Nothing japanese theme to show-off on the venue. Tables and chairs for eating customers. Plain & boring. Dined on Mother’s day; May 11, 2025. Nothing spectacular to say the least. Just a “dine & go” moment. Nothing more. Most resto will engage on gimmicks to give customers a vibe on special occasions such as this day. Not commendable. Just dine once and forget about it. Overhyped, overpriced, underwhelming, under-delivers. Maybe it's unfair to judge the restaurant based on a few dishes, but for a popular and more expensive than normal food chain, I would expect all their main dishes at least, to be above average, or at least within the expectation. Ordered seafood mix Yakisoba and all I saw were three pcs of shrimp, a piece of squid maybe and a tiny cube of octopus maybe. It was filling for a solo diner but just disappointing. Miso soup was okay but it was more seaweed than soup. I hoped to sip some soup before eating but they served it last and not too much soup. Salmon sashimi at least was to my liking. This was the only food that was worth any star. Servers were not too attentive despite having only a few customers that time. My family wanted to have dinner here. Place was crowded when we arrived. Ask about the promo with Eastwest card, the attendant said yes, did not mention which are included and which are not. Seated on the table with our toddler. We waived our hands to indicate that we are ready to have our orders. No one even bothered to attend to us. Waited for about 20mins finally a staff came. Only to find out that the group meal is not included in the promo. Wasted our time waiting but it seems they are not good at accommodating customers. We opted to just look for another restaurant to dine in. We have dined here before, food is good but it is overpriced for its serving size. They should improve their service, probably needs re-training of their staffs, or the store manager on how to properly serve their paying guest.
