Location It is located next the National Highway in a corner street. Going to the place is not difficult at all. On Google maps, we thought we would have to enter the street but is is actually facing the highway. They only have a space for 2-3 cars. We were lucky to arrive with one more spot open but since it is next to the highway, I was worried of blocking or being hit by cars. It is that close and theres a lot of vehicles and people passing by. The Place It has that feeling of being in a traditional restaurant. You feel that it has been there for a while and many people visit it. You can also feel and see that it is dated. Dont expect a lot of IG spots. This is a place where you will go an enjoy the food. Food We came here at the suggestion of a friend and the food didn’t disappoint. Maybe we were too hungry or maybe the food was just delicious or both. I personally like the Sinampalukang Manok and the Egg Sacs. My kids loved the Lechon Manok. All of them were very tasty. You can taste the herbs, the experience and the distinct flavors. All the servings were pretty generous and the price was reasonable. We had a lot of left overs and brought them home and continued to eat them the next day. The Experience We were there at 7pm and were knew that they would close at 8pm. We were able to order the last Lechon Manok available. We ordered 3 different dishes and we dont know what happened, it took sometime for all 3 to be served. Maybe it was because of the time or something else. We were waiting there for a good 20 minutes for the food to arrive. We didnt get any water while waiting. The one that was mainly serving us was clearly a teenager and probably a high schooler. He seemed to be learning the ropes of serving or waiting. All in all the experience wasnt too bad but I hope that there was some kind of explanation or message that it would take some time or a timeframe for when the dishes would arrive so we know what to expect. Summary I would recommend this restaurant for the delicious food and reasonable price. I would look at the time when they are busy so I would know if I can park or not as well as if there would be a lot of waiting for the dishes to be served.

🌟 Carvajal Restaurant: Where Simplicity Meets Soulful Filipino Flavor Tucked along the National Highway in Santa Rosa, Carvajal Restaurant is one of those places that doesn’t scream for attention — but once you step inside, it quietly wins you over. It’s not flashy, not trendy, and definitely not trying too hard. Instead, it leans into what it does best: authentic Filipino comfort food served with heart.

🍽️ Food That Feels Like Home The menu is a tribute to Filipino classics — think lechon manok, bulalo, and crispy fried chicken that tastes like your lola made it. Their roasted chicken is a standout, often mentioned in reviews for its juicy meat and flavorful skin. The pancit is simple but satisfying, perfect for sharing during casual get-togethers or family dinners 1.

🏠 Ambience & Service The vibe is cozy and unpretentious, with a layout that feels more like a family gathering than a commercial eatery. The staff are known to be knowledgeable and friendly, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where you don’t feel rushed — you just sit, eat, and enjoy 1.

💸 Affordability Meets Quality Despite its reputation for quality food, Carvajal keeps prices budget-friendly, making it accessible to everyone. It’s often described as affordable fine dining, which is rare and refreshing in a city filled with fast food chains and...

Located along the national highway, which makes it easily accessible. There is limited parking space in front of the restaurant for about 3 cars. Their roasted chicken is a must try - juicy, tender, cooked with herbs for a nice aroma, and served with their own lightly flavored sauce that complements the chicken well. The taste of their roasted chicken is unique compared to the many highly commercialized roasted chicken brands and stalls. The building looks dated, but the place is maintained well, giving the classic...
