The interior is divided into three sections. You can sit and enjoy your meal depending on your preferred atmosphere. The crew was friendly, and some dishes were on the menu but not available. Therefore, I recommend selecting at least two items in advance. For reference, we ordered Peri-Peri Chicken, but due to restaurant circumstances, it wasn't available. We instead ordered Chicken Inasal.
The HubStop Iced Tea, a beverage, was reasonably priced and delicious.
Black Truffle - Parmesan cheese was topped on al dente pasta tossed in a rich cream sauce. The dish was tender and savory. It was served with warm, buttery garlic bread.
For reference, "al dente" means "just undercooked, firm enough to be chewed." If you cut open a piece of pasta cooked al dente and look at its cross-section, you'll see a thin, undercooked core in the center. Cooking pasta so that the core disappears is called "cottura," while fully cooked pasta is called "ben cotto." If you're used to well-cooked pasta, al dente might not appeal to you.
Chicken Inasal - First of all, the food on the plate was very well presented. Usually, what looks good tastes good. However, when I actually put the chicken in my mouth, it was filled with a strong fishy flavor and was very salty. It also tasted undercooked. It was also twice as expensive as store-bought chicken inasal, so I wouldn't...
ย ย ย Read moreDONT GO HERE. The reviews are a scam. Awful experience, waste of time. Food just fine.
We arrived 8:10pm, ready to order by 8:15pm. I kept waving for staff to come, but there was literally NO ONE. All of the servers were in the back office or kitchen? I stood up to go to the counter to order before a server went out and asked why I went to the counter to order. Superb ๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป A lot of items in the menu were also unavailable.
We ordered our food at 8:24pm (based on the receipt). The food only came out at 9:16pm. We waited for almost an HOUR for our food. The restaurant had barely any people, but the servers were gone because they were "busy" most of the time. Awfully slow service.
Air conditioner was dripping water onto my table. I had to move to a different table on my own without assistance from staff.
There was a large group behind our table, and they were extremely noisy (scream-laughing) which ruined the ambience of the whole restaurant. There was a cockroach on their table which led them to scream even more, but none of the servers helped out. The customers just killed the cockroach and kicked it away. No one removed the dead cockroach.
Food was mediocre at best. Katsu was extremely thin. Creamy miso udon was just okay. Salt and pepper pork was average but extremely rubbery. All the food was not worth a...
ย ย ย Read moreWeโve tried eating here many times before and were used to waiting half an hour to get our food done. Okay, thatโs fine and the male waiters then seemed nice. However, this time, the staff were not accommodating and did not even have an ounce of care or attitude to cater to their customers. We were looking for vacant seats then tried getting the staffโs attention but instead of coming at us, she just pointed at the table I was looking at and mouthed โreservation.โ They did not give us any menus and just said that we had to scan the QR code (they usually provide menus). We tried scanning it but our signal was really off. But NO STAFF even cared to help nor came to our table to accommodate us. We asked for their WiFi but the female staff, who obviously heard us, just looked at us and left. My family and I decided just to leave too. I understood if their food takes time to prepare, but at least get some staff who have a good attitude and who donสผt take their bad day out on customers.
P.S. Why are they (all of the staff) always glued to the counter area? Are they afraid of the customers or something?? And please, look at the customers because we were literally raising our hands up but no oneโs...
