It’s a pasalubong center in Tagaytay, that’s quite spacious and cozy. Their buko pie or rather buco tart is one of the best I’ve tasted. They also have a readily available CR for clients use and convenience. Not sure though about how clean it was because it was my driver who used it. But atleast they have CR as against most pasalubong stores that doesn’t have. Staffs were nice and accommodating. Hope they realize though the value of stamping the price on each items for sale in their store, so that customers won’t have to keep on going to the counter to ask. Also, and most importantly, they better start making sure they don’t neglect stamping the manufacturing and expiry dates of their goodies. When I asked about it, staffs made excuses by saying it’s good for 6 months since it’s just recently delivered. Then I ask, how they can be so certain about their infos, given all the hundreds of other items in their shelves? How can they memorize the delivery dates of each of them? By law, it’s a basic requirement from BFAD, to stamp expiry labels, since they are selling foods that could be detrimental to people’s lives if product handling and logistics are not handled thoughtfully and with deliberate care. Owners of Amira’s Buco Tart House, train your people to do the right and lawful thing instead of merely making excuses. Law is law. Dont go above it. It’s a fair warning: please heed my advice before it’s too late. Or before BFAD themselves...
Read moreMy go-to place when I'm craving for Buko Pie. I usually get it after spending time in Tagaytay. The location is quite convenient for people that are travelling to and from Manila since it is just along the highway. The store has a lot of different pasalubong goodies. I always get freshly cooked buko pie but I also liked their eggpie and other baked products. They also offer different tarts and cookies. The restrooms are well-maintained and clean. There is also a nice little coffee shop inside the store that serves really good coffee that's perfect to match the buko pie's buttery and flaky texture. The place itself exudes a warm, inviting ambiance and it is an ideal spot to savor your chosen pastries especially with the aroma of freshly baked pastries and brewing coffee really sets the mood for a cozy experience. The staffs are also friendly...
Read moreBetter drive-by location to get our favorite Tagaytay's BEST buko tart if taking Aguinaldo Highway on our way down to Manila. They have ample free parking and you can leisurely check out the pasalubong fares, not all homemade but a good collection of decent food treats. Their buko tarts are the freshest you can buy -- quite a lot of time they are even warm to the touch from being fresh out of the oven. We are locals of in the area and hands down, Amira's is a buko tart brand I won't be embarrassed to...
