Balinsasayaw Restaurant and Events Place, Lalaan 1 — Restaurant in Silang

I decided to celebrate my mom’s 62nd birthday at your restaurant, two days ahead of her actual birthday since we could only get together on the weekend. It was a special occasion for us, and I was really hoping to make it memorable—especially since it would have been the first time my mom experienced something like a birthday serenade from the staff.

I politely asked one of the waiters if they could sing for her, and the response was quite disappointing. I was told, “We’ll try,” because the restaurant was “busy.” However, at the time, many of the huts were unoccupied, and the place didn’t seem that crowded. It would’ve taken just a few minutes to create a simple but meaningful moment. I honestly expected better. I had the same request at Lechonaria 2 days ago but they did it even though the restaurant was REALLY busy.

We spent over ₱4,000 for four people, and while we were willing to pay for a nice meal and experience, we left feeling let down. This could have been a memorable experience for my mom, but it fell short in several ways. Unfortunately, I don’t see myself coming back.

We were greeted by friendly staff upon arrival. Customers are taken to cottages to dine, providing great privacy. Each cottage has a bell that you can ring for waiter assistance, a unique and convenient feature. Surrounded by lush greenery, the cottages create a pleasant and relaxing ambiance.

The food is excellent, particularly the bulalo, which is unique because it doesn't have grease on top when it gets cold—something I've not found in other Tagaytay restaurants. We’ve eaten here countless times whether as a couple or as a large family group, all our experiences have been pleasant largely because the staff are amazing and attentive. The food is great as well, during our visits we’ve tried different variations of their menu and none of them are disappointing. Everything was nicely seasoned and cooked. Plus, the ambience if being in your own hut surrounded by nature is a unique experience in itself. Even if there are other groups in a hut beside yours, you wouldn’t really notice. Great experience.
