Dining at Rodem Korean Restaurant was an unparalleled culinary experience, significantly enhanced by the exceptional service we received, particularly from our server, Gabby.
From the moment we entered Rodem, the atmosphere spoke volumes: a perfect blend of traditional Korean decor and a warm, inviting ambiance. The menu offered an extensive range of authentic Korean dishes, each promising a taste of Korea's rich culinary heritage. When the food arrived, it was nothing short of spectacular. From the perfectly marinated meats to the array of flavorful side dishes, each bite was a delightful experience in itself.
However, what truly set our dining experience apart was Gabby, our server. Her welcoming smile made us feel instantly at home. She possessed an extensive knowledge of the menu, guiding us through the options and making recommendations that were spot on, perfectly suiting our tastes. Her passion for Korean cuisine was evident and infectious.
But Gabby went above and beyond mere service. When she learned that we were celebrating a special occasion, she surprised us with a complimentary dessert, adding a sweet touch to our memorable evening. Her attention to detail, empathetic nature, and the genuine enthusiasm she displayed ensured our experience was personalized and heartfelt.
It wasn't just a meal but an exquisite journey through Korean culture, made memorable by a server who clearly takes great pride in her work and her culture. We left Rodem Korean Restaurant with full stomachs, happy hearts, and the certainty that we would return, not just for the incredible food, but for the warm, exemplary service that Gabby provided. A shining example of hospitality...
Read moreWe tried this place because we wanted something else from our favorite Korean BBQ restaurant in that area.
We ordered the unlimited pork samgyupsal and we were sorely disappointed.
There was only one type of pork meat available and it was not flavorful and not tender. The side dishes that went with the meal were nothing to write about and the soup was a basic cabbage soup. There was no bibimpap dish but instead it was only white steamed rice. The vegetables were indeed fresh but they were just too much for two persons.
Some reviews say this is an authentic Korean BBQ restaurant but there is not even an exhaust fan hanging from the ceiling. The also cook the meat over a gas stove and not charcoal. Plus they didnt bother to replace the pan on where the meat is cooked.
For about a hundred pesos more , do try the other Korean BBQ restaurant across...
