Jollibee Sogod — Restaurant in Southern Leyte

The service was the worst. We waited for almost an hour and a half, only to find out that our order was not even prepared yet. We paid via cashless payment at the kiosk, but were still required to present our receipts at the counter. We were passed from one staff member to another until the manager finally spoke to us, only to claim that we didn’t read the instructions, which, by the way, were not even posted anywhere.

After waiting for over an hour, we noticed that many other customers had similar complaints. When the manager explained what happened, it was neither clear nor helpful, and at no point did she offer an apology for the extremely delayed service. Instead, she blamed us again for not reading the so-called instructions, apparently about handing over the receipt after using cashless payment.

Mind you, this isn’t my first time using cashless payment, but in this branch, they made us feel completely clueless. At one point, they even claimed we had already received our order and had to verify with other customers (our friends waiting in the car) just to confirm that we hadn’t.

It was a huge inconvenience, especially since we were trying to catch a boat ride to Cebu.

Jolibee in Sogod, Southern Leyte is an abeolute joyride! An amazing fast food restraunt that I recommend to all visitors like me in Sogod, Southern Leyte.

Food is great, like all of your favorite American fast food restraunts combined into one restraunt. Food is clean, well-prepared, and straight up delicious. Never disappoints.

Service seems to be Jolibee's achille's heel, most specifically this one. The service and delivery of your food to your table is slower than your typical Jolibee in other cities, but not too slow to the point you are dying of hunger. The staff, though, are all kind and caring towards their customers and always clean used tables quickly and effectively for the next set of customers ready to use the table.

Last, but not least, the atmosphere. With the scorching heat the Philippines, especially Leyte, has to offer, Jolibee offers a cool, relaxing air conditioning service the second you walk into the restraunt. A nice change for the heat you experience while outside in Sogod, Southern Leyte. Jolibee also plays music. A repeated mix, but good music to enjoy your food to. The music is also not loud at all, in fact to the point it's quiet and is often blocked out by cobversations and noise coming from staff and other customers, which is good since loud music is never needed unless your at a Travis...

The service was okay during my last visit. As expected from a newly opened establishment, there were so many people so the wait was understandable. I was informed that I had to wait for about 20-30 mins but got my order after 10 mins or so.

They had the updated Jollibee design as well so it looked fresh and modern.
