More accessible and more affordable alternative to getting your Good Shepherd Ube Jam fix from Baguio.
This is more accessible if you are in Metro Manila.
Ube Jams here are not in glass jars but reusable microwavable tubs. The serving is a lot bigger and the price is more affordable compared to Good Shepherd Baguio.
The ube jam from Good Shepherd Baguio is sweeter and creamier but I tend to prefer Bahay Pastulan's ube jam better for its smoother taste and texture and lesser "umay" effect.
You might want to try their Ube Dimples as well. Its their version of ube pastillas.
There is ample parking space.
Best to have waze or google maps guide you when going there as the signage along the road isn't really that visible especially if you are coming from Sta. Rosa going up...

So it’s only now that I saw that they have a smaller stall by the parking space. No need to hike up the steps to the main store. The smaller stall is really convenient. One suggestion though - they might want to rethink their parking space. For customers, let’s all be extra careful when backing out of the spaces as it’s...
Read moreThis place is run by Good Shepherd Sisters in Baguio which is famous for their ube and strawberry jam. Their pasalubong store offers all same goodies that we've grown to love with the addition of buko pie and tawilis which is what Tagaytay is known for. You can find more sweets at their refrigerated section such as jams, tarts, pies, leche flan, turon and suman sa lihiya. They also have a take out counter for merienda like lumpiang ubod, bibingka galapong, empanada, arroz caldo, buko juice and fruit shakes. There's also a stall at the back of the parking area that sells fresh produce like vegetables,...
