PLEASE DONโT DINE HERE. Iโve been to other restaurants in Tagalag and I can say that Alvarez is the WORST. It was my grandmaโs birthday so we decided to reserve a private room for 12 people 7PM. When we got there at around 6:50PM, it was raining hard and we were told that they gave our room to guests. They also said that these guests didnโt want to leave because it was raining EVEN IF WE WERE ALREADY DRENCHED BECAUSE WE WERENโT ACCOMODATED PROPERLY. They made us sit at Fishermanโs Point instead which required us to walk in the rain with a senior and a kid! They also gave us a table cover that was super dirty and a table & chair that were broken. We also had to wait for an HOUR for our food to arrive and they served one main dish first. We asked them to kindly serve all the mains at once. Afterwards, they literally did that after 20 minutes but then we had to wait ANOTHER 30 minutes for the rice. WE COULD NOT START EATING because there was no rice. Itโs also understandable that there would be insects at the place considering that itโs a huge pond or something but to serve our food one at a time? Water took so long to get refilled as well that the bugs in our glasses started to multiply haha. The place smelled bad and the whole place was filthy (trash on the floor). SO DISAPPOINTING. The service was so bad that even if we were clearly already frustrated, the staff didnโt even seem bothered (the lady who served us was so taray I swear). Will...

Worst restaurant in Tagalag, Valenzuela City. Do not dine here if you want to avoid poor reception, poor customer service, poor management services, small servings, mosquitoes and small insects in your food and water.
We already got in touch with the reservation officer prior to our visit but when we got there, our requested table was already given to a customer who also "reserved" but refused to leave due to rain leaving my family soaking wet despite preparing for our Lola's birthday. They transferred us to Fisherman's Point where we had to wait 2 hours for our meal to be served completely. Full of mosquitoes (our baby got itches), small insects in our drinking water, plus the waiters and service team were also rude and visibly stressed on their lack of man power.
The only thing good here is that the place looks nice in photo-ops and I guess the parking, that's it. If you want your family to have a positive experience I suggest looking for a venue who accepts down payments for consumables instead of "Sige mam, punta nalang kayo dito."
The place itself is nice but please work on this reviews management....
ย ย ย Read moreThe food serving quantity were too small, opposite from their advertisement huge serving photos. 150 php banana split is like 1 small cup of serving, Oriental chicken is dry and overcooked, lemonade drink is like a quarter cup size, pork sisig is bland, corn soup is too pricey for 350 php, fishing is a money sucker at 250 php rent for fishing rod, 60 php entrance and 250 php for fish "pain" / bait for the rod, ended up fishing without the fish bait for photo ops only. They were about to give a "kawayan stick " for the rod as i paid only 150 php at first, so i decided to pay more of 100 php as i haggled just for kid photo op of fishing, instead of the "kawayan stick" they were giving that i originally paid for. Travel distance from main road is not worth the service you will expect, food are overpriced, the hyped of reviews from vloggers are exaggerated and maybe "paid", as none of the hyped reviews was experienced other than the ambiance and exterior, places like this are visited only once and definitely not coming back, for the vloggers can't blame if they are giving overrated reviews if they are paid for false advertisement. Think...
