Garry's Lugawan is an absolute gem that offers affordable and delicious food in a cozy and welcoming setting. This hidden establishment has become my go-to spot for a satisfying meal that won't break the bank.
First and foremost, the affordability of the food at Garry's Lugawan is remarkable. They serve generous portions of flavorful lugaw (rice porridge) at incredibly reasonable prices. The menu also offers a variety of add-ons and toppings, allowing you to customize your lugaw according to your preferences. Whether you're a fan of classic toppings like egg, chicharon (pork cracklings), and spring onions or enjoy more adventurous options like tokwa't baboy (tofu and pork) or tokwa't baboy with adobo sauce, Garry's Lugawan has got you covered. They also serve silog meals if you prefer!
The ambiance of the place is cozy and inviting. It has a warm and rustic feel, with comfortable seating arrangements that make you feel right at home. Whether you're dining alone or with friends and family, Garry's Lugawan provides a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy your meal.
Service at Garry's Lugawan is exceptional. The staff members are friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist you. They ensure that your orders are promptly taken and delivered with efficiency. The waitstaff is knowledgeable about the menu and happy to provide recommendations if you're unsure about what to try. The overall dining experience is made even more enjoyable thanks to their attentive and accommodating service.
One notable convenience is the availability of pay parking in front of Garry's Lugawan. This is a huge plus, especially in busy areas where parking can be a challenge. It allows you to enjoy your meal without worrying about finding a parking space nearby.
In summary, Garry's Lugawan is a must-visit for those seeking affordable and satisfying food in a pleasant environment. The combination of budget-friendly prices, cozy ambiance, and attentive service creates a memorable dining experience. Whether you're craving a comforting bowl of lugaw or simply looking for a place to enjoy good food with friends, Garry's Lugawan is the perfect spot.

Read moreOne of those underrated lugawan-gotohan in Valenzuela. First time we visited this shop recently and we were impressed with their service, the area and their food. We ordered for one of their bestsellers, goto heaven, not the goto hell, of course. And yes, both are in their menu, just in case you thought it was a joke. Hehehe The difference between the two goto is that, goto heaven is the usual complete goto serving, while goto hell is the spicy ones. The serving is good for one but it's a complete set of goto with lots of toppings. We also ordered their lomi overload. This one is also one of their bestsellers and yes, it was overloaded with toppings. Soup is thick and tasted good, just like the old-style lomi, nothing fancy, but very good in taste. We also added tokneneng and tokwa't baboy to complete all our orders. Their suka was also good, it's somehow a little bit sweet though, but still perfect for the goto and tokneneng. You can even buy their vinegar in small bottles in case you liked it. This shop is self-service. You get your own condiments from the table in the corner, like the suka, toyo, patis, kalamansi and sili, spoon and fork, plastic disposable cups for your water or drinks, pitcher of water and table napkins. The lady server was nice and courteous. The waiters were all on stand by in case a table needs to be cleaned, and they are quick in serving the orders once it goes out from the kitchen. The place is big and can accomodate a lot of customers. The place is clean eventhough it looks like an old-style type of lugawan. There's a parking area right across this shop. Garry's Lugawan and Tapsilogan is located in Pasolo, Valenzuela. We'll come back and try their silog...
