Poor Service and Mishandling of Voucher â Disappointing Experience at McDonald's Tetuan Highway
I am writing this to express my strong dissatisfaction with how a legitimate voucher redemption was handled at your McDonald's Tetuan Highway branch.
Upon arriving at the store, I placed a regular order (not related to the voucher), which was prepared and served correctly. However, the problems began when I tried to claim my voucherâa legitimate promotion, DTI registered and part of a credit card partnership. The staff at the counter had no idea how to process it, which already shows a lack of training and awareness. The branch manager had to step in, and I clearly instructed that the voucher order was for takeout.
To my surprise, when the order was ready, it was not packed for takeout at all. I reminded the staff, and the person assisting me went back to the kitchen areaâbut instead of correcting the mistake, I overheard the manager instruct her to make me bag the items myself. No paper bag, no cup seal for the drinkânothing was provided. I had to do all the packing by myself, in full view of everyone. Meanwhile, I watched other customers receive properly packed takeout orders handed to them courteously.
I felt mocked, disrespected, and completely dismissed by the staffâespecially by the manager, whose behavior set the tone for this unacceptable service. Just because I used a voucher doesnât mean I deserve substandard treatment. That voucher is as valid as any other paid transaction and should be honored with the same level of service.
If this is how your store treats customers who use legitimate promotions, itâs no wonder why there are so many negative reviews about this branch. The poor attitude and lack of professionalismâespecially from someone in a managerial positionâare unacceptable.
I hope McDonaldâs corporate takes a closer look at whatâs happening in this location. Promotions are meant to attract loyalty, not drive customers away through mockery...

Whats the use of the PICK-UP window? So far last 4 trips here were always like that. Eventhough no one is behind me.
And they always dont put ketchup in the bag..even if you order a fries or hashbrown. It should be automatic if you order a fries or hashbrown that theyd include at least a packet of ketchup.
So make sure to ASK for ketchup if you need it. Otherwise you wonr get it in your takeout bag. ALSO if you order Pancakes make sure to see if you got your knives.. Last time they gave me a spoon for...

I think they miss the concept of drive thru in all branches in zamboanga city. Or maybe they don't want us to see what's happening in the kitchen. This is very negative point for McDonald's.
