American House Baletowa Restauracja & Pokoje Gościnne — Restaurant in Warsaw

We had booked a triple room in this hotel for me, my husband and my 7 year old child. A few days before our arrival date, we got a phone call from them informing us that because our stay was during Easter break, the hotel will have no staff and that it would be better if we change our booking to another hotel since they prefer to remain closed during the holiday! When we told them that we don't want to cancel our booking they agreed, after explaining to us that there will be minimal services for the first 3 days of our stay. We had made our booking back in January but they chose to inform us about their planned holiday after 2 months. ||||Upon check in we were informed that the booking was made for 2 people only, although it's a triple room! They made sure they showed us how inconvenienced they were by this error (that was in no way our fault). Eventually they said they will fix something and then informed us that they have changed our booking to 3 people for free. We stayed there for 5 nights and things were OK until the day we checked out, when they insisted on charging us an extra 150 złoty because our room was booked for 2! This left a very bitter taste in our mouth and we don't plan to...

The most pleasant service, clean, bright and cozy rooms. Your car is parked safe in front of the building.

The breakfast was another pleasant surprise. A wide choice of freshly cooked food, from hot omelette and sausages to greens and salads and thin pancakes with sweet cheese. The fruit mousse in a tiny glass was a cherry on the cake. The breakfast service staff is impeccable.

Restauracja jest bardzo przytulna, w formie domu, posiada wiele zakątków, gdzie ulokowane są stoliki. Na tyłach restauracji znajduje się patio z kolejnymi stolikami. Gdzieniegdzie są kąciki wypoczynkowe (kanapa, stolik i fotele), gdzie można zjeść mniejszy posiłek lub deser z kawą, ciesząc się książka z regału obok. Warto rozejrzec się po restauracji i poprosić o wybrane miejsce, bo rezerwacja lub domyślnie wskazany stolik mogą być po prostu bliskie wejścia lub kuchni, a wcale nie wykorzystujące walory tego "domu".

W niedzielę 3.09 dostępna była Pani animatorka, która robiła naprawdę ciekawe eksperymenty z dziećmi (sól do kąpieli, slime, itp.) - dzięki temu w restauracji jest cicho, a dzieci się nie nudzą. Generalnie otoczenie i klimat na piątkę.

Jedzenie generalnie bardzo smaczne - tatar wyśmienity, rosół bardzo dobry, kaczka podobnie. Uwaga - burger dziecięcy jest ogromny, zupełnie jak dla dorosłego - chyba jedyna różnica jest taka, że nie ma warzyw i pikli - bułka, ketchup, kotlet. Sznycel średni - dobrze rozbity i wysmażony, ale odrobinę żylasty, więc jak ktoś bardzo nie lubi - nie polecam :) Kawa wzorowa pod kątem mocy i ilości wody w americano, beza i morele bardzo dobre, do tego dobre wino.

W karcie można znaleźć pozycje w każdej półce cenowej od 42 zł za burgera do 120 zł za steka.

Obsługa bardzo miła, ostrożna i bardzo starająca się.
