MOKUZAI SUSHI & RAMEN — Restaurant in Warsaw

A complete disappointment!

We visited and tried this restaurant with great excitement today. We ordered two chicken ramen dishes and paid in advance. While waiting for our meal, they informed us that they had run out of chicken and would make our meal without it and the chef notify us he will add something instead of chicken and it will be still tasty and for sure we gonna like it. When our food arrived, we were greatly disappointed. What we ate was more like pasta and hot water than ramen. It had a bit of green onion and plenty of boiled bamboo instead of chicken. Later, we wanted to give them another chance and ordered sushi, but our additional order was rejected with a rude and unhelpful attitude, citing a busy kitchen. In short, the MOKUZAİ SUSHI team did their best not to satisfy us. I strongly advise against spending your money at this place for tasteless watery pasta.

Firstly, thank you for the polite and constructive response. The truth is, a refund was not offered. Instead, a promise was made by chef to transform the product into something different, he proposed adding extra special ingredients in place of chicken to create a delicious meal. However, what was presented included only extra bamboo and green onions. It’s currently 2:00 AM, and what I ate is still upsetting my stomach. We are struggling to avoid vomiting. Unfortunately, I fear I may have to file a complaint with the organization named SENEPİD regarding your business. This comment isn’t about the food — it was as good as always, served quickly and prepared with care by chefs who clearly enjoy what they do. My issue is with the service. From the start, the waitress seemed disengaged both in attitude and demeanor. When I asked to remove the egg from my ramen, she responded with a deadpan expression and left so quickly I didn’t even get the chance to ask about extras. Later, when I set my bowl aside to have a drink, she immediately tried to take it away. As I finished my meal (while my friend was still eating), she came over to press for payment and the bill, despite there being plenty of free tables available. I really don’t understand why she felt the need to rush us out.

Overall, it was simply unpleasant service that disrupted the otherwise welcoming atmosphere of the place. The other server we noticed seemed much friendlier, which makes it all the more disappointing that we happened to get...

Shocking great. Really authentic flavor :) --- Review after a year. Sadly quality going down by time. Earlier, I would love to recommend beff tartar here with fresh meet but now I think they change to lower quality meet, super thick slide, which made it harder to swallow than chewing gum. I came back quite often but a lot of time, I told myself thay because they are too crowed. But now, I order ramen, sushi, beef tartare and sasimi. Only 2 customers in the shop including us, we got only ramen and sushi. By the end, I decided to ask for tartar, but still they forgot my sashimi order (but I decided not to-remind anymore after the bad tartar). Ramen is still good.
