I read the reviews and was expecting at least decent-tasting food and hopefully something really good. Don't know if it's just me or something happened to the place, but the food was disappointing . Not terrible, but definitely not good either. I ordered sour soup and it had cold sausage and cold potatoes in it. Taste was ok but kinda below average. I thought that maybe there's lots of people, they're in a hurry and soups aren't their thing. But I tried chef-recommended baked lamb and it wasn't any good either. I have nothing against pre-cooked, but it felt stale, like it's been waiting for me for a couple weeks. The location is nice, the view is beautiful, but come on, what's up with the food? The food we ordered was fine! It wasnt amazing and we've had better tasting dishes of this kind in other restaurants but it definitely wasnt bad. The portions were good and the prices were obviously inflated because of the location and tourist season. The service though was absolutely off-putting. The lady taking our orders had either a very bad day or thats just the standard of hospitality in this restaurant. The waitress approached us like 2 minutes into us reading the menu and it seemed that we were a bother for requiring a bit more time. We didnt feel very welcome. Her demeanor indicated annoyance as if she was forced to be there. Additionally there was a young boy who looked to be around 14 years old working behind the counter which was a bit suspicious. Miejsce z kapitalnym widokiem na Tatry – będąc na Gubałówce, zdecydowanie warto tu zajrzeć. Oceniam je bardzo wysoko, mimo sporej wpadki ze strony kelnerki, która zapomniała podać zupy i od razu przyniosła drugie danie… które do tego było chłodne. Na plus reakcja obsługi – po zauważeniu błędu kelnerka przeprosiła, zabrała danie i zaproponowała rabat w ramach rekompensaty. Później wszystko przebiegało już jak należy.

Jeśli chodzi o menu:

Rosół – niestety bardzo średni, a podanie go z koperkiem to kompletnie nietrafiony pomysł. Kwaśnica – jadłem już lepszą, ale nie była zła. Drugie danie – grillowana pierś z kurczaka z pomidorem i oscypkiem całkiem niezła. Na plus – duży wybór czeskich piw, zwłaszcza Sedmy Schod – rewelacja! Są jednak dwie rzeczy, które wymagają natychmiastowej poprawy:

Brak menu na stronie internetowej restauracji – kompletnie niezrozumiałe... Słabo oznaczony budynek – przydałby się duży szyld z nazwą. Podsumowując – cenowo jest naprawdę w porządku.

EDIT: 11 grudnia 2021 Na szczęście kwestie, które wcześniej uważałem za minusy, zostały poprawione: ✔ Rosół – podany z pietruszką i wydaje się dużo lepszy niż ostatnio. ✔ Menu – dostępne na stronie internetowej.

Dodatkowe plusy: ⭐ Bardzo dobry i naprawdę gorący (!) grzaniec. ⭐ Pyszne żeberka w sosie własnym – osobiście wolałbym trochę większą porcję sałatki (zamieniłem z buraczkami), ale same żeberka – zarówno pod względem smaku, jak i porcji – zasługują na dużą pochwałę.

Obsługa znów na wysokim poziomie, więc dodaję piątą ⭐. Chętnie tu jeszcze...
