Restauracja Picaro — Restaurant in Zgorzelec

In comparison with the other Picaro that is a bit further down the road into Poland, this restaurant was extremely poor quality. The food did not taste like whomever cooked it made it with love - the staff seemed like they wanted to self-terminate, they were so unhappy with life & their job in general. There was also no area for children to play in (compared to the other Picaro). I think one bad decision was that the available space used was split up and used for some other restaurant in the other half, instead of being all for Picaro. GOOD LOOK HIGH PRICE BAD TASTE: The food is an insult for the actial polish meals they sell them as. The soup had a chemical taste. The potatoes were just cold and clumsy. Worst of all was the meat wich is a understatement. Finally the little cake, it feels like eating a repair kit paste for tires. All in all a verby bad overpriced experience... but if you dont believe me then ask for "Golabki" and broccoli soup and see...

I had chicken strips and fries.

The chicken was so crunchy and tasted like real chicken, not like pink goo at McDonalds or Burger King. Restaurant and Gas Station in one place. The fries were also very crispy. Tasted and look liked they were out the air fryer which is healthier than frying it in oil. I would definitely visit this...
