Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Évora

The older guy with grey hair and black glasses was polishing the cutlery and throwing it in the basket so hard I couldn’t even hear myself talk, it was very annoying. Also, he should learn to treat his younger co-workers with a bit more respect and leadership so the younger ones will work with more fun and a bigger smile on their faces. Instead of him bossing around the younger ones and giving them a hard time.. Yeah, I saw it even though he tried to hide it.. it’s an open kitchen; some guests are not blind to that and can feel the atmosphere hanging around in that place. I worked in the hospitality business and in the kitchen as a chef for over 15 years, it doesn’t matter if it’s a Pizza Hut or a high class restaurant, you treat your co-workers with respect, lead them by example and you all don’t have a bad day.. maybe the 1-star rating in here would go up, it always starts with managing your people correctly and with respect.. Don’t get me wrong, the younger guys who were waitering our table were very fast and polite, also tried very good on speaking English and explaining some menu items!...

We ordered the large family-size tuna and shrimp pizza, which is usually my wife’s favorite. At other Pizza Hut locations, it has always been very good. Unfortunately, at the Évora branch, the shrimp were not properly cleaned — most still had the vein in them. A few were fine, which suggests it was simply a lack of care in preparation. This completely ruined the meal.

We also ordered a salad, but there were no salt and pepper shakers available, which felt odd, especially considering the high price (38€ for a pizza).

It’s disappointing because this same pizza has been excellent elsewhere. The problem is not the recipe, but the execution at this specific location. We’ll eat again at other Pizza Hut locations, but never...

Muito mau mesmo . Chegamos eram 13:12h, sentamos-nos, e veio logo uma empregada dar nos o menu. Após termos escolhido, esperamos 35 minutos para que nos viessem apontar o pedido. Posto isto e já com o pedido feito, só às 14:39h é que nós vieram trazer uma pizza média e duas pepsis. Após termos recebido as pizzas, reparamos que não tínhamos talheres nem guardanapos, avisamos uma das funcionárias e só passado 15 minutos é que nos trouxe os mesmos. Terminamos a refeição, fomos para a caixa , para pedir a conta e demoraram mais 10 minutos para nos atenderem. Com tanta demora, acabamos por sair do restaurante às 15:20h. Além da demorada espera, em que houve pessoas que chegaram , esperaram e acabaram por ir embora por ninguem as atender, as mesas não estavam a ser levantadas, chegou a estar a sala cheia de gente e praticamente todas as mesas por levantar, e para piorar isto, tambem havia uma funcionária a trocar pedidos de outros clientes. Muito mau , não...
