Newer establishment, decent size (seating for 40-50), family owned and operated. Food was tasty and prices quite reasonable. We chose to eat all of the "nibbles" that get brought to the table which increased our bill by €5.50 but we knew in advance this would be the case. The specialty of the restaurant is rabbit and an appetizer they recommended was Somosas filled with rabbit. 2 good-sized Somosas for €1.50. To drink, my wife chose to have a glass of the house Sangria and I chose a half-liter of the house red wine (vinho tinto). Main course for me was a skewer of turkey, onion and bell peppers with broccoli and the obligatory rice and french fries (separate, not mixed). My lovely wife had lamb cutlets with the same accompanying side dishes. We begged off of dessert and / or coffee but the host brought out a specially egg-creme liqueur and insisted we sample it. Read moreExcellent for first impression. Place looked professional, staff crew and kitchen crew were professional and also very approachable and friendly. Very important for customers. And I think they were fluent in English. No trouble with communicating in Portuguese or English.
The food were splendid. Everything was perfect, fries, sauces (mmmh, more than perfect!), meat, coelho (rabbit), vaca (beef), frango (chicken), all tender, juicy, tasty, full of flavour. I got no other words to describe how wonderful the food was. From start to ending, the desserts were tasty. Big thumbs up to the kitchen and staff crew, hope the boss is very proud of his people.
Thank you for the wonderful experience, the taste, the sight and the chat. 👌
Next time, if I can buy takeaway of the sauces, I would love...
Read moreAfter hearing feedback from few friends, decided to visit this space.
Booked a reservation at noon, therefore found parking very easily, however spots filled up fast.
Food was quite delicious, surprisingly they had vegy gyozas on the menu which were good. The Rabbit was beautifully cooked, just thought the sauce was a bit on the sweet side, the side sauce was also quite sweet. Appetizers (bread, cheese, salami, olives) were standard and pretty good.
Service was good, yet with few flaws, server broke the wine cork twice, no follow up wine service, to busy for just 1 server & a SA.
Overall place was clean, was bright, lots of sun shining in, semi open kitchen, could see the rabbit bbq.
Based on the hipe that i heard, did not blew me away. But quite good...
