The food is delicious, whether it's the morning cappuccino, the tasty breakfasts, or the perfect sandwiches for lunch. I haven't stayed there, but I hear they also offer upstairs rooms - an option I'd definitely consider on a future visit.

Bonus: the location is ideal, right next to Laguna Beach, with a great view of the kitesurfers in action.

The owner clearly did not want my Portuguese family there. As soon as we came in, he said the food would take a long time! I asked if all the tables outside were taken and he said yes. One minute later, a group of English people that arrived after us without a reservation took a table that was going to become vacant outside and the waitress winked at them. They clearly prefer foreigners to Portuguese people. Maybe because they expect them to spend more money and pay whatever price? Not the place for me then....
