Totally authentic Portuguese food for a fantastic price that opened in 1981. I’ve been coming here for years with my family and every time without fail they’ve stepped up to plate. It’s a family owned restaurant that’s been passed down for longer than I’ve been alive, and it’s only gotten better since I’ve aged. The grilled chicken is phenomenal, and the tomato salad is seasoned amazing. You are served bread, cheese and sardine pâté upon arrival and given bread refills, and the service keep on top of it. They have desserts that differ each day. It used to be owned by an older lady who “retired” (she still comes back at lunch to help) and her son now keeps it going.
