Restaurante Casa Azul — Restaurant in Albufeira

Had an amazing holiday and the food has been fantastic most places we have been. I honestly don’t know when I have ever left a negative review, but I feel like I need to for this particular occasion unfortunately…

My wife, two kids and I visited for dinner and not long after arriving there was a comment from my eldest daughter and wife about how grumpy the staff seemed.:. Not a major issue if the food is good I suppose…

The food turned up… the cheese on the platter board was dry and hard… inedible.

Mains, my wife and daughters pizzas were actually quite nice. I ordered the prawn and octopus kebab… it came out literally cold. I sent it back which I never do, it came back looking exactly the same and still cold… I then mentioned this again… they literally returned the same kebab and except this time missing a piece of prawn and octopus 🤣 unbelievable!

We also ordered chips which didn’t turn up!

We weren’t the only ones complaining it happened on the table behind us about a missing dish and the table next to us received there food before their drinks!

Worst place I have eaten in years… shocking.

The staff handled the whole complaint terribly and the manager seemed way out of his depth!

Like I say I don’t normally leave negative reviews but I don’t want anyone’s evening ruining on...

The place is nice and service is good and the food is decent as well.... We were staying nearby and visited on a number of occasions....staff were mostly friendly.... Expensive though 110 euro for 4 pizza and a few drinks..... The biggest let down is in the day time around the pool....The pool is chilled compared to the others on site, but on a number of occasions has been taken over by rowdy groups or as today a young group.

The waitress shook her head while watching the group numerous times but nothing was done....even though after numerous shots they were shouting across the pool and most people were leaving the pool... At one point a number of life guard staff appeared and watched as the group all disappeared into the toilet at the same time and came out wiping their noses.... Not hard to figure out what was going on....this behaviour and these groups should be dealt with early...

We have eaten here twice. The first time we had a decent experience. The service is slow but the meals were good. The second experience was terrible. We waited for an hour for our food and they only brought out the meals for our wife’s. The pizzas that we ordered must have gone to someone else because we waited another 30 minutes (after complaining) before they came out. By this time our wife’s had pretty much finished eating and the whole evening was pretty much ruined. To make matters worse when I paid with cash they didn’t have the correct change and apologized for shorting me .40euro. Not a big deal but not my idea of a well run establishment. I don’t blame the servers, they were trying, but seems like the management needs to step in and give them some additional training and guidance on how to handle...
