Ó da Casa — Restaurant in Alcobaça

I recently dined at "Ó da Casa" restaurant in São Martinho do Porto and while I must commend the quality of the cuisine, I regret to say that the service left much to be desired. Specifically, I ordered a Vodka Martini, a classic concoction consisting of Vodka and extra dry white Martini. However, to my dismay, the waiter presented me with a Vodka mixed with sweet Martini instead. When I brought this to his attention, he insisted that it was indeed a extra dry Martini. In an attempt to resolve the discrepancy, I requested to see the bottle, only to be informed that it had been discarded. It would be prudent for the management to invest in comprehensive customer service training for their staff and emphasize the importance of honesty and transparency in their interactions...

We came in here to eat some seafood. The restaurant looks good from the outside. We ordered a stuffed crab, shrimp cocktail, grilled cod and grilled tuna. Out of all of this only the shrimp cocktail we actually enjoyed. The crab lacked taste. The cod was actually fried, not grilled and the tuna was over cooked and just completely covered in burnt sesame seeds which made it inedible . As you can see from the picture the tuna is over cooked, dry and tastes like burnt sesame seeds. Really...

We had lunch there today with my wife. The food was good but be careful. They are not transparent about the price. You may be surprised if you don't ask about price before you order you may get a surprising high bill. I asked a "robalo". They brought me more than is necessary for one person and charged 72 Euro. And I had insisted before that is is for one person only. My wife ate another plate. That should be changed to get more customer...
