I’ve been a big fan of Pratus for years. Their sister restaurant, House 51, is just as good and has outdoor seating overlooking the monastery. Our server was terrific, the food was delicious and we will be back soon! The restaurant is open throughout the afternoon - serving a more limited menu between 3:00 and 6:00. I had the BBQ pork ribs and sautéed vegetables. Their BBQ sauce is the best I’ve had since leaving Texas. I tried to buy some! They make it fresh by the order. The ribs were divine! My friend had the veggie burger and fries and devoured every bite. It’s going to be hard to choose which restaurant to enjoy. I will just make more frequent visits...

I ask for my partner what the food come with and they said with nothing but in really was full of maionese...we complaint but they said said some like it some don't ... customer service was rather poor . When we arrived there was water in the table with house brand. Normally this would be complimentary but not here...they charge we complaint and they told we need to pay. I said call the manager which was a young girl. Likely to be the daughter of Antonio Padeiro restaurant. God help us... The issue with this place is turism keep coming regards if you like or not ...won't be returning . Ps Burger king have better...

We had chicken gyros and a grilled steak. Since we are from Germany and don't know any Portuguese wines, the waiter brought us a bottle of wine. My girlfriend prefers sweet wine, so he brought her a Rosé. He opened it at our table and let her taste a little bit before serving it. That was really kind, he served it because, she enjoyed the wine.
As for the food, it tasted quite nice, and the fries were delicious. In fact, they were the best fries I've ever had with a steak, I think :D
The interior of the restaurant is calm and cool, which were perfect on a hot summer day. The toilets are clean...
