Fiore di Zucca - Pizza — Restaurant in Alcobaça

I love this place. Whenever I think of Alcobaça, I just think on making a reservation here.

The pizza is out of this world, I have yet to pick one that I dislike. The ingredients overall are super flavourful, and you really can tell that the people working there really care about the place. Being the way they greet you, the smile on their faces, or their apparent enjoyment for working there.

The only thing I dislike is that it's hard to find parking, and that the place is a bit too bright for me. It sort of feels like they could perhaps remodel a bit, but that's just my own "taste".

Still, it doesn't stop me from visiting this place whenever I go...

On our way back from Óbidos we stopped at Alcobaça and found this nice little pizzeria " Fiore di Zucca" (aka the pumpkin flower). We shared a lasagne with vegetables and a pizza vegetariano as well. The lasagne was served steaming hot with a nice crust of cheese. The pizza had one of the best pizza base I' ve ever tasted 😋 Although I should get used by now to less seasoning in almost every dish served in Portuguese restaurants yet I missed again the use of Italian herbs 😄... The service was welcoming, fast and very friendly. I certainly can wholeheartedly recommend...

18-08-2019 Na primeira vez que aqui vim em Maio a piza já estava no limite do pouco recheio , agora em Agosto , encomendei a mesma mas esta ainda piorou , a lasagna que encomendei , igual , esta chegou inchada do calor do forno mas depressa se reduziu ao seu pequeno tamanho , pouca massa e pouca carne , os bons sabores continuam mesmo assim presentes , continua a não haver meias garrafas de vinho , não gostei da máquina do café impropria para um Restaurante de comida Italiana , tiramisu positivo e gostei do serviço neste dia , para concluir penso que estão a apostar na clientela turística , sobretudo a estrangeira de passagem que não volta , mas pode-se dar o caso no futuro em que haja dias em que não haja turistas e que os clientes residentes ou nacionais já fugiram .

23-05-2019 , Desta vez deixei 3 * Gostei da piza e da pasta / massa , dos sabores em geral , mesmo de alguns condimentos que não consegui identificar , positivo o à priori tomate fresco na piza que não perdia nada se fosse mais pequena mas mais recheada , negativo a pouca escolha de vinhos e a não disponibilidade de 1/2 garrafas , negativo também para mim , as profiteroles , teria preferido que fossem recheadas com gelado ( como é frequente no seu país de origem ) em vez de chantilly , e a empregada de mesa loura que pressionou para fazer rapidamente a encomenda mas depois estava muito mais atenta às novidades nas redes sociais no ecrã do seu telemóvel do que às necessidades...
