Churrasqueira AL GRILL — Restaurant in Alcochete

We have been visiting this place on a regular basis for almost three years now. The chicken is so good and their garlic sauce is just amazing. In the beginning, we had our meal inside and ordered soup, salad and a few drinks. But since the pandemic, we only went for take-aways. We never ordered over the phone so sometimes we had to wait 10 minutes or so, but that is OK. One more thing, the staff are very friendly and kind, at first we had some language problems but now that we speak some Portuguese, conversation is getting easier. Here you can have a great grilled chicken, meat or pork to eat. The side dishes are usually rice, beans, fried potatoes and salad. I always grab to go, but they have a (small) space to eat inside. Omdat ik op zoek ben naar de typische Portugese keuken kwam ik hier terecht via Google. Ondanks dat 95% van de maaltijden bestemd zijn voor take away, kan je ook hier ter plaatse je maaltijd opeten. De porties zijn groot, echt groot. Het vlees is vakkundig gebakken op de grill en is bovendien van super kwaliteit. Ik at de ribbetjes en mijn partner kippenvleugels.
