Nepalese restaurants that I have tried in Lisbon were exceptionally amazing! The most delicious and exotic food that I've had in so long, also surprisingly very affordable/cheap prices for the quality, amount, and service. With that in mind, my partner and I decided to go to this "Nepalese" restaurant tonight in Caparica. AWFUL! From the beginning till the end! I'm surprised by the 4.5 star reviews! Chicken Biryani for 9.5€ and lamb Biryani for 10€. Overpriced indeed, undoubtedly the worst Biryani ever that I had. It wasn't even a Biryani, obviously both chicken and lamb were overcooked a long time ago! Dry and tasteless. What is with the green peas, carrots, and green beans in a Biryani?! 🧐🤨 We asked for medium spicy hot, none were even remotely spicy. Not a fresh food either. We were waiting outside to finish a phone call with a friend, the waiter came out to get us in with no social cues, interrupting us. Perhaps, we didn't even want to go in! We went in anyway after he bugged us three times. I asked for milk tea, he rolled his eyes and made a face to say "it takes time to make it, I don't know about that!" 😳 I said "it's okay, bring it after the meal", he brought the tea in less than two minutes! After we were finished - obviously we didn't finish it - we asked for the bill three times. The restaurant was not crowded at all, he was just standing behind the counter licking on dirty spoons and chugging his bear one after another! Every restaurant we went to so far, we said to each other, let's come back and try the other dishes. This is the first time we looked at each other and said WE WOULD ABSOLUTELY NEVER COME BACK. Please do yourself a favor and don't go there. There is waaayyy more delicious food in Portugal it's hard...

A really cheap but sweet indian restaurant in Margem Sul do Tejo! The food is really above average (the Chicken Masala and the Lamb Biryani were top, some other dishes like Chicken Korma not so much) and the appetizers were very good. Environment is chilled out; not fancy, not too much casual but just the right spot if you are in a hurry to eat lunch. Food was somewhat spicy. Cow meat isn't served in there, but for the kids they have a roasted chicken breast with garnish, so there is something for everybody....

I give them one star because it’s not possible to leave no star. We ordered on UBER Eats, and it’s a big disappointment. We order tikka Marsala and korma. Both just taste like cream, the color of the food looks unhealthy. It was the worst Indian food I ever tasted. No veggies in there. We wasn’t able to eat it and going hungry to bed after spending a lot of money on over...

This is supposed to be a Prawn Korma. Totally wrong and tasted disgusting, they might be good at Nepalese food but their Indian cooking is nothing like any other proper Indian restaurant. Beware if you're looking for actual Indian food.
