We have been at O Eden two years ago during a trip to the Northern Alentejo and we’ve been around again on a Saturday and chose to go to O Eden for lunch. Pernil assado no forno caught our attention and was choice of the day. A good and massive one! Certainly, olives and bread were served and we opted for a delicious and fragrant spinach soup before the main course was served with French fries. All rounded up with Serradura for dessert and an espresso (café). Worth mentioning is the outdoor sitting area of the restaurant.

Os pratos escolhidos, Favas com Entrecosto e Cachaço no Forno, estavam muito bons e, a salada que acompanhava temperada na perfeição! O serviço foi prestável e pronto, já que as 3 pessoas que andavam às mesas respondiam, qualquer deles, sem objecções ao que era pedido! A sobremesa cumpriu! Uma esplanada agradável para dias de menos calor! Em suma um local humilde, cumpridor e, a repetir sem grandes objecções!

We only walked to the back yard for a meal. If we walked through the mail door we probably wouldn't eat there. So based on this. It's all a bit dated but we wanted to eat out so had a go. Food was surprisingly good and so service. Very large portions. 1 it's enough really for two people. They don't take Visa card. Only Portuguese MBWAY. Inside really dated...
