Good location, but disappointing experience

The restaurant is conveniently located, but unfortunately the overall experience was quite disappointing, both in terms of food quality and service.

One of the meat dishes was reasonably good, but the cuttlefish and prawn skewer was clearly just reheated: the cuttlefish was rubbery, the prawns were overcooked, and the boiled potatoes were underdone and completely cold — it really felt like they had been prepared the day before. The speed at which the dish was served only reinforced that impression.

Service from one of the staff members was unfriendly. The plates were placed in front of us without so much as a “good afternoon”, and no effort was made to indicate which dish was which. We were not given a menu to look at or check prices — everything was told to us verbally (meat €11, skewer €12.50), but in the end both dishes were charged at the same price, without any explanation.

The only positive point was a young man who was somewhat friendly. Other than that, I wouldn’t recommend this place. Also, be aware: they do not accept card payments, and we weren’t informed of...

Restaurante / Cervejaria para poder ter uma refeicao mais longa ou ate para uma refeicao petisco rapido. Quanto aos pratos do dia e comida mais elaborada não posso escrever visto ainda nao ter provado , no entanto tem sempre optimo aspecto. Para petiscar e comer um marisco recomendo, os preços sao justos para a qualidade servida. Comecem por pedir um queijinho amanteigado, é fenomenal para quem gosta deste tipo de queijo. De seguida podem pedir umas ameijoas ou entao umas perninhas de ra (especialidade da casa.) O prego vai para a lista dos melhores pregos da zona. (em pao muito bom, com manteiga no meio e a carne super tenra, com muito alho, o que eu amo!!! (quem nao gosta convem pedir pouco alho)

O restante marisco e petiscos, sempre bem preparados , e entregues na mesa pelo staff simpatico , agradável e atencioso que o restaurante tem. O empregado Nuno é uma maquina e sempre disponivel para nao faltar cerveja na mesa.

Penso que 4 estrelas seja merecido, visto que é uma casa que serve sempre bem, com simpatia e sempre pronta para receber opiniões positivas.

Restaurant / Brewery to have a longer meal or even a quick snack. As for the dishes of the day and more elaborate food, I can't write as I haven't tried them yet, however they always look great. I recommend it for snacking and eating seafood, the prices are fair for the quality served. Start by ordering a buttery cheese, it's phenomenal for those who like this type of cheese. Then you can order some clams or some frog legs (house specialty.) The nail goes on the list of the best "Pregos" in the area. (in very good bread, with butter in the middle and the meat is super tender, with a lot of garlic, which I love!!! (if you don't like it, ask for a little garlic)

The remaining seafood and snacks, always well prepared, and delivered to the table by the friendly, pleasant and attentive staff that the restaurant has. The employee Nuno is a machine and is always available to ensure there is no shortage of beer on the table.

I think that 4 stars is deserved, as it is a house that always serves well, with friendliness and always ready to receive...

Espaço limpo, atendimento não perfeito, nem agradável. Tendo comido sardinhas e bebido vinho da casa a acompanha-las não ser o melhor! Pedimos que o substituisse por vinho de garrafa, o qual foi feito. Mais tarde, pedimos mais 1/2 ou não havendo outra garrafa. O que nos responderam, não tinham a mesma marca e como tal serviram-nos outra, por acaso melhor! Fizeram-nos a observação que não estavam acostumados a servir vinho à garrafa, por isso não estavam fornecidos desse tipo de vinho. É triste um restaurante deste tipo que quer ultrapassar os tempos difíceis de crise (devido à pandemia) ainda causticar e penalizar os seus eventuais clientes. Acho que devem ponderar e mudar a sua atitude. Um bom...
