A very nice, local Tasca, serving traditional Portuguese food. Very reasonable prices considering the quality of the food.

Do expect: very warm service; delicious food; a good selection of wines, especially local vinho verdes.

Don't expect: many vegetarian/vegan options, although they will do their best to...

Great to enjoy local lunch in Amarante. There's set menu and you can have soup+dish of the day+drink. I asked what the dish of the day is, and the staff showed me a picture, which is the pork with sauc, vegetables and sausages (I think it's 'Feijoada'). It came up with rice, so you don't have to order rice. The soup was chicken based and all the dish was great.

With 2 sodas, I payed 16.6 euros.

한국인들을 위해 설명하면, 아래쪽 dish of the day 메뉴는 동파육 부대찌개버전이라고 이해하면 맛이 상상될듯 합니다. Baked beans가 들어가서 부대찌개 맛이 나요. 고기 엄청 부드럽고 맛있습니다. 근방 식당들이 이 메뉴를 많이 팔더라고요. 밥이랑 같이 먹으면 한국인 입맛에 잘 맞습니다.

수프는 닭죽이랑 비슷한데 국물이 더 많고 밥 대신 수제비 비슷한 작은 밀가루 알(?)들이 들어가있습니다. 수프도 매일...

Pedimos un entrante (pulpo) y dos platos principales. Nos trajeron un principal y lo que habiamos pedido de entrante, resultó ser otro plato de pulpo (mucho mas caro y escaso). A la hora de pagar, nos querian cobrar el otro plato principal, el cual les comenté que no me llegaran a servir. La respuesta de la persona alli presente fue de absoluta indiferencia.
