Most humble dining experience we had in Portugal! Despite the language barrier, the family who runs this restaurant made us feel at home right away with the warmest smile. They even gave us a peak in their kitchen and of their grill plate and meats. We ordered the lamb chops en pork. The lamb meat was one of the best we’ve ever had; tender and fresh. Read moreHeaving read the previous reviews, we were well aware of the language barrier. My wife and I still decided to give it a try and went there with our 15 month old daughter. Glad we did! We used Google Translate to understand the menu and went for the “Cabritinho na Brasa”. It was delicious! They do also offer a wide variety of regional wines - very tasty! Do not be discouraged by the language barrier. The staff was very kind and polite. Being there with a small child was no issue - they did even joke around with her. We highly recommend this place....

To say the portions are generous would be an understatement.
