Terrace Lounge — Restaurant in Benavente

Great. The menu has variety (albeit a little big) with lots of original and some classics choices. The starters were very good and the "bolinhas de alheira" (the ones I had) were delicious. I had gratin Cod fish .. a generous portion. I was about to choose a dessert (good choices as well) but I had to cancel because of all the mosquito flying around (a problem alien to the restaurant itself). The place is very modern and it has a cozy feel to it with inside and outside seating. Prices can be moderate to high, but with what's presented I think it's fair. Lots of potential... And...

We had a really lovely evening at this restaurant. The food was excellent. The ambiance was also great – cozy, stylish, and with a pleasant atmosphere. However, there was one downside: The shrimp were not deveined. This took away from the experience a bit, as the vein was clearly visible, and at times it was quite unpleasant to have gritty sand between my teeth. I can't even call it Sushi, it's a game of flavours. Every bite of the same piece gives you a different taste. You feel the freshness of each fish, which you often don't even get right next to the sea. Impressed by the chefs, the staff and management for creating such an amazing ambient full of surprises. A lot of amazing sushi restaurants create a beautiful plate, but not many restaurants manage to surprise with even a butterfish...
