One of the best, if not the best place to have espetada in Madeira. Always fresh and prime quality meat, very tender and delicious, always cooked to perfection. The side dishes, home made french fries, milho frito, bolo do caco and the salad are always fresh and cooked perfectly by madeirean cuisine highest standards. Prices are also very honest, and cheap if we consider all the other espetada restaurants in Câmara de Lobos and the staff is very nice. Also the pregos especiais (beef sandwich) in bolo do caco with salad, cheese, ham and fried egg are superb and not expensive at all. If you are looking for a snack or a light meal, it's good enough for two.

The view from the restaurant is just amazing. The staff are nice and friendly. The food quality was OK but the meat could have been a bit more fresh. The Espetada with bone had too much bone and we didn't get much meat from it and the total number of meat cubes they served for us was lower than tables that came a bit later! They said they would weigh the meat and you get the same weight as others but I could tell the difference between 5-6 pieces skewers and 7-8 ones. So a bit disappointed there. If you don't want to pay the price for bone's weight, go for the Espetada without bone.

Delicious food with great service and an amazing view. Would highly recommend, the fillet and chicken and skewers were delicious. The salt cod was also lovley, we were warned that not all brits like it but I don't understand why, it was just a much more delicate a delicious fish and chips! We were also skeptical about the black scabbard with banana, but was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed it. Would recommend ordering with the banana to try it, and if you're not a fan you can just take it off.

Estábamos de paso y queríamos probar este restaurante, dado que las vistas eran muy bonitas, hay que bajar las escaleras para llegar al comedor, cuando entramos pedimos mesa para 9 personas y vimos que habían 3 mesas disponibles frente a la ventana, nos atiende un camarero y nos indica que nos sentemos en medio de la sala muy cerca de la cocina, mi marido le solicita que como hay mesas con vistas y eso es lo que nos hizo venir, nos indica que no con malas maneras, dice que esas mesas son de 6 y que no va arrimar otra mesa para añadir 3 personas. Nos pareció bastante desatento y grosero, dado que sitio había para escoger frente a la ventana, nuestra opción fue marcharnos, porque si al cliente no le dan un gusto para disfrutar de la comida con vistas y además el restaurante con lo grande que es y estaba vacío, es desagradable que un camarero atienda tan mal a una familia para comer. Por lo que en Madeira restaurantes es lo que sobra, así que han perdido una buena cuenta de mesa de 9 personas por la desagradable atención de un camarero. Ustedes se lo han perdido. No recomiendo el lugar, porque los camareros son la carta de presentación de un restaurante y si tratan mal a un cliente, no merecen que se recomiende. A ver si el dueño o el encargado toman atención a este mal trato al cliente y tomen acción para que no se repita.

So for the first time after more then one week I was really impressed. Not only about the service but also about the food - stunning place, love service and sticks full of fresh meet that you can actually choose from the fridge !!! And if you would like to have few drinks call and ask for shuttle bus it's included. The atmosphere is excellent- maybe because 70% of people are actually Madeira once.

We were lucky to find this restaurant early on during our holiday so we ate here twice. Staff are lovely and the food delicious. We were a group of 4 and we were all extremely happy with our choices, fillet steak kebab, chicken kebab, scabbard, and steak. We organised a complementary lift to our accommodation as it was a little remote to walk to at night. The views are amazing.
