Worst dinner experience I’ve ever had.
The service was abysmal. Our waiter seemed completely clueless about the menu and couldn’t provide accurate information about the dishes we wanted to order (Posta Mirandesa and Posta Bravo do Ribatejo). After checking with the kitchen, he assured us they were pan-seared steaks. However, what arrived was a culinary disaster. The meat was drowned in onions and a sauce that tasted overwhelmingly of vinegar, completely ruining the dish. The so-called "sear" on the steak was non-existent; it felt more like boiled meat soaked in vinegar. To make things worse, the meal was outrageously overpriced for the quality of food we received.

Read moreWe arrived a bit earlier than the usual Portuguese dining time and were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality. The staff made us feel immediately at home, and the atmosphere was so inviting that it never felt the least bit awkward.
The food was excellent — fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. Each dish was both satisfying and beautifully presented, showing real care for ingredients and detail. Service was attentive throughout, striking the perfect balance between friendliness and professionalism.
Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Naco na Pedra is a place I would wholeheartedly recommend and will...
Read moreWhat a shame. I've been coming to this restaurant for many years. We love it. I dont know what went wrong but the T Bone I ordered looked like steak from the worst motorway service station mixed grill. I'd ordered medium rare, so it I was actually worried it might be a little undercooked for such a large cut, but no. It was dry, cold in places, chewy and unpleasant. I suspect it was a busy night and my steak was left in an oven to keep warm. We only had a main, and it was 1h 20mins before it came. So 3 stars because I've never had a problem here in the past. I will be back. But I will...
