Barriga Cheia — Restaurant in Cascais

After having dinner various times in Cascais center, in fancy & trendy restaurants, we looked for something easygoing and local.

I am not sure it is 100% local, given there are some Ukrainian dishes, but it sure was delicious. I tried one of the Ukrainian specialties, crepes with meat and mushrooms, and my wife the octopus. The mushroom sauce was fantastic, super tasty. The octopus was juicy.

Super friendly service. There were not so many guests, but this place would deserve to be better known, sometimes it's worth going out of the mainstream and discovering some less...

For the price is nearly unbeatable. Owned and managed by an Ukrainian family (mother and two daughters), tasty food at very attractive prices. Cozy indoors dining room as well as nice outdoors area. If you arevthe type that parking your car on side walks us no problem (as I am), you will find parking with no problem. If you are mote respectful to laws, you may find a problem to park your car at lunch time. At dinner you will find veryy few clients so you will have all the service practically...

One of the best restaurants to eat in the town. Locals know. The place is not in the centre, but definitely worth to visit. Once you try / you will remember this place every time when you are hungry while in Cascais. The menu includes traditional pearls of Portuguese cuisine plus a big choice of Mediterranean and Ukrainian dishes. Lunches are very busy most of the times, so its better to have a reservation.
