Village Museum — Attraction in Cascais

First off, it is free to visit. Just check the hours because we went on Sunday and they closed for lunch and are not open on Monday, which is not unusual in Portugal. It was also not very busy. Such a nice local museum to visit and learn more about the history of Cascais and Estoril. Some excellent artifacts and interactive displays. We spent about an hour. My friend and I came across the museum during our walk around Cascais and we spontaneously entered this hidden gem. The museum is gorgeous, not crowded at all and we enjoyed many things: the immersive room, the holographic pieces, the historical details. There are short movies you can watch, you can take photos and transform them into postcards. It is very interactive and we had a lot of fun inside. Surprisingly it is free! Great place for sure. Fully-free museum with lots of informative content and practicle informations about the history, the life, the people and the vibe of the town of Cascais. And it was a very modern exhibition too, especially the immersive room felt like you were floating through outer space. I can only recommend it, it saved me even from one of those notorious spring rain...
