First off, it is free to visit. Just check the hours because we went on Sunday and they closed for lunch and are not open on Monday, which is not unusual in Portugal. It was also not very busy. Read moreMy friend and I came across the museum during our walk around Cascais and we spontaneously entered this hidden gem. The museum is gorgeous, not crowded at all and we enjoyed many things: the immersive room, the holographic pieces, the historical details. There are short movies you can watch, you can take photos and transform them into postcards. It is very interactive and we had a lot of fun inside. Surprisingly it is free! Great place for sure.
