Maré Alta — Restaurant in Cascais

Sorry I didn't take a photograph, I had a truly, simple, fresh, delicately cooked fish lunch with boiled potatoes and a tasty plate of greens. The fish I chose myself from the ice fridge, it was a big piece of bbq Portuguese swordfish and it was delicious! It was so big I brought half home. I also had a delicious homemade chicolate mousse which was divine, rich and very indulgent. The best part was my totally fluent in English speaking attendent who was kind, attentive, not rushed, very present and gave me lots of interesting facts about the fish etc Its likely not a place that gets many tourists as its not in those areas. Unfortunately I can’t share nice experience for this restaurant. Restaurant having tv on during dinner is more a local pub. Interior is outdated. Lady of the house was not friendly at all.. personal does not speak English. We did like the octopus salad. I ordered grilled shrimps but in stead of grilled gif them with boring rice and cooked in strange yellow sauce. I am sure that Portugal has better restaurants and much...
