Quite large supermarket you can buy almost everything. In the same building Corvo - dinner as I am not sure how describe it. Pastries , toasts, pizzas and obviously coffee, fresh juices. The food is good although expect to wait for your order. For my tuna toast had to wait over 20 minutes despite that was not busy time (11am )

Neste supermercado não é permitido que os clientes escolham as suas frutas e é obrigatório utilizar sacos plásticos. Acreditamos que seja para não amassá-las, mas que grande surpresa ao abrir o saco após 30minutos de viagem (nenhuma fruta poderia estragar tão rápido) e constatar que uma das laranjas que a funcionária havia escolhido (pedimos apenas 4 e bem laranjinhas) estava claramente podre, de maneira que a mancha branca e verde poderia ter sido vista em qualquer dos ângulos que a funcionária a tivesse apanhado para colocar no saco. Uma pena que um supermercado possa destruir a sua reputação com clientes por conta de uma laranja. Pensei em voltar para reclamar, mas estávamos em viagem (o que havia sido percebido pela funcionária) e já não foi possível. Fica o alerta, especialmente aos viajantes: verifiquem as frutas que as funcionárias colocam nos sacos e cobrem com a etiqueta ao pesar!

Sou cliente quase diário do Corvo e no aspecto da fruta é bastante medíocre. Por 3 ou 4 vezes quando chego a casa e abro o saco que contém uma certa fruta encontro sempre duas ou três peças completamente improprias para consumo e desloco-me novamente à loja para reclamar, fora as vezes que não vou só para não me chatear. Ainda hoje fui novamente enganado ao comprar 1,5Kg de pêssegos e colocaram 3 que nem os cães comiam. Pois tenho evitado, mas a partir de agora cada vez que eu comprar fruta no corvo e nem que seja uma só peça estragada vou pedir o livro em todas as vezes que encontrar fruta estragada, pois se eu pago tenho que ser bem servido e em vez de venderem essa fruta estragada aos clientes dêem na aos patrões para eles comerem.

Supermercado Corvo made for an interesting experience and one we initially struggled with and any non portugese speakers will likely encounter these issues. Below is a recommended guide: Take a look at the options on display and ensure you know what you are having. Take a ticket from the machine and keep a closr eye on the counter (if they call your number and you miss it they simply move on) Order and pay, you will receive a vibrating disk (similar to harvesters) Once disk activates go up and collect your food.

The food itself is actually surprisingly good and the portion sizes alone make it worth the reasonable prices, the service does leave a bit to be desired though we did manage to get a laugh out of two servers after realising we'd ordered two bottle of wine not two cups (for reference a bottle of vinho verde was only €4.95 hence our initial confusion).

I would recommend trying this restaurant out but not going out of your way though the town of castro marim is beautiful...

I known it's dificult to find good employees in a small town like Castro marin but there are limits... I took a number at the ready food counter and went a bit sideways to look at the cheeses. The lady called my number and, since I was not right in front of her, just passed to the next number.... I went there right way and the same lady simply said in a very unpolite way, that now I had to wait for the next turn. All this took like 10 seconds, so it seems to me that either she didnt like my face or she just dosen't know what she's doing. Either way, I really dont apreciate being treated...

Slightly upmarket supermarket with an adjoining cafeteria. Good choice of products at a slightly higher price. Cafeteria has a large choice too at reasonable prices. Hot meals available all day long. Freshly squeezed juices available. English is spoken and menu contains an English translation. Friendly staff. Toilets are wheelchair accessible. A very small step on entry to the premises. No ATM. Hours are the same as the supermarket's. Closes at 8 pm. Car park nearby as well as...
