A nice place to sit for a coffee and pastry after doing food shopping from across the road.
It's a beautiful day, and there are seatings both inside and outside. So we decided to sit down for a coffee and a pastel de lata before doing our food shopping.
There are quite a good selections of pastry to choose from, but my eyes were focus on pastel de lata. The guy who served us was friendly. He also speaks English, which saved me from my currently terrible Portuguese. Anyway, we wanted a big coffee with milk, unfortunately they only served small coffee, but that's ok. As for the pastel de lata, I think they made it themselves because they look different. They are much deeper and filled with yummy filling.
Apparently, their bread is very popular. Judging by the many people who came to buy them, and how much bread each person bought. It seems true.
I guess I'll have to come back another day to try them.
By the way, if you want to sit outside, you'll have to paid...
