Quinta do Forno — Restaurant in Celorico de Basto

Wonderful . we were staying at the nearby Celorico Palace where the food was below par. Just a 15 minute walk away we found Quinta do forno with the help of Google. We were the only customers on this Tuesday night but by the amount of covers they can handle here we quessed it probably gets very busy at times. They do not speak English and we speak Portuguese with the aid of a phrasebook and Google translate but that adds to the fun, we were given some bread and some prawns.We both had Veal with a mushroom sauce and it was very tasty and so much of it we could not finish it all. Franchement déçu qu'on nous ait vu arrivé et qu'on nous offre des entrées qui se paient lors de la note. Sinon RAS. La nourriture c'était basique. Déçu de mon dessert un Leite crème qui baignait dans son eau de décongélation. Pas ouf peut être qu'il y avait un plat du jour mais on nous proposé les plats a la carte.
