Taberna d'Ouro — Restaurant in Cinfães

Most disappointing place we've tried in the country. We ordered the chicken 'special', they brought out a terribly overcooked 'stew' made with cheap leftover trimmings of chicken, with very little meat and lots and lots of splintery bones. I would have been embarrassed to serve that at a soup kitchen. Went there mostly for the advertised beer selection; however, there are no beer options, just one beer on the tap. Ambiance looked okay, but way too cramped and loud from street noise. ...

The Douro Tavern. Great location in Cinfães. Great food, service and atmosphere. Some servers speak english. Kebob and Pica Pau was delicioso. Know the owner and she is very accomodating. Will be back. A great stop for a cafe, cerveja or a copo do vinho while walking...
