I just left this place and unfortunately had the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had, and I’ve never left a bad review before.
We came for take-away only. I had my toddler with me. Instead of a warm welcome, the staff (particularly the woman working today) looked us up and down and told us to wait outside on the terrace, in the cold evening, even though my child was in just a T-shirt and we clearly intended to just grab the food and continue our drive. Definitely not a kid-friendly environment.
When I got the order, I questioned why there were only two small boxes in the bag. The staff assured me it was correct. When we got back to the car and opened the bag, I discovered I’d been given a completely different order from what I paid for. I had ordered sushi plus 2x ebi tempura, totalling over €30. Instead, I received just two small and random types of sushi (worth well under €15-20).
So not only was I given the wrong food, but I was also charged for a significantly higher-priced order I never received. The service was cold, unwelcoming, and dismissive, and the attitude towards customers, especially those with children, was disrespectful and unpleasant. The food was sublime. We had gyozas (dumplings) to start, really well cooked and flavoursome. We then had a sushi and sashimi platter (see photo). It was imaginative and expertly prepared. All of the basics were done really well and there were some gorgeous little innovations, for example a touch of black truffle oil on a salmon nigiri, that really elevated the food. Would definitely recommend it for the food alone!
However, it was the bartender Gonçalo who really made our night. He was definitely in his element, keen to show off his passion and experience, able to listen to what we wanted and provide us with cocktails that had amazing depth and imagination. Would also definitely recommend Shari just for his expertise alone!

Infelizmente, a experiência não foi boa. Escolhemos o restaurante com a expectativa de comer enguia, mas para nossa surpresa, não havia. Além disso, os menus estavam velhos, rasgados e com pedaços de papel soltos, o que não é aceitável num restaurante desta categoria e com estes preços.
Outro ponto que nos desapontou foi a falta de stock de alguns peixes, incluindo a enguia. Para além disso, não havia bartender disponível, o que nos impediu de pedir cocktails ou outras bebidas, ficando limitados a sumos ou cerveja.
O serviço também deixou muito a desejar. A atitude das empregadas de mesa não foi a mais acolhedora, desde a forma como pousavam os pratos na mesa até às expressões faciais, transmitindo uma sensação de descaso. Para agravar, às 22h00, desligaram abruptamente a música ambiente, deixando-nos com a impressão de que estávamos a ser convidados a sair, o que tornou o ambiente estranho e pouco convidativo.
Gostaríamos de sugerir algumas melhorias:
Garantir sempre o stock dos peixes principais, especialmente em restaurantes com um conceito mais refinado. Incluir outras variedades de peixe da costa portuguesa, como sardinha, pargo, cavala ou carapau, combinados com ingredientes diferenciadores como raspas de castanhas, trufas, entre outros. O mar português oferece uma riqueza imensa, e esta poderia ser uma excelente oportunidade para inovar e elevar a experiência gastronómica do restaurante.
