We enjoyed a superb meal and our compliments go to the owner/chef and his staff, who went out of their ways to be friendly and helpful. The menu is varied and not the typical, often predictable, Portuguese fare. The black pork fillet was the tastiest, most succulent, that I have ever tasted and my husband’s steak was cooked to perfection for him (mal passado). There is also a choice of sauces. Do not be fooled by the pictures that have been posted. The French fries were chunks of perfection - crisp outside, soft inside and hot. Delicious homemade food with super friendly staff. We ordered the bacalhau and the vegan salteado - both freshly cooked and full of flavor. I loved the little extras like bread, olives, and butter. We were even treated to a homemade fruit liqueur at the end, some made with fruits over 20 years old! Great vegetarian options alongside excellent fish dishes.
