Legacy Winery Restaurant — Restaurant in Estremoz

Everything about this place is superb. The new driveway brings you past the front of the restaurant and cellar door which are set atop a rolling hill surrounded by the property's vineyards and gardens. We dined Al fresco (July) on a hot but dry day with a cool breeze. The service was prompt and friendly. We had a child whose meal was served very quickly which kept him calm and preoccupied. We ordered a red and white suggested by our waiter which were wines of finesse and structure. The majority of us had red meat dishes, all of which surpassed our expectations. Perfectly cooked, with great textures and flavours, the red complimented our meals beautifully and delivered a culinary masterpiece. A walk inside the restaurant presented a luxurious and very contemporary dining room which appears to be recently renovated yet maintains the old world charm of a venue and property established in 1687. The cellar door is a well lit space designed to cater for enough curious wine enthusiasts and still have a very intimate discussion with the well versed staff about the history, the varieties, and philosophy of the families winemaking. And yet, despite all this, it is the wines that truly shine here, (on par with the staff) leaving an indelible memory of what Portuguese wines are all about. I'd give everything a 10 if I could and it would be insufficient to truly honour this place...

Our wine tasting was an absolute blast with the super friendly staff genuinely happy to share their knowledge and introduce us to the flavors and the process. While the winery features a variety of whites, roses, and reds at different price levels, there is also a selection of special blends from outstanding years and experimental wines which are a real treat. Distante dos núcleos tradicionais de restaurantes badalados da capital Lisboa em Portugal, eu encontrei próximo a Évora no Alentejo um restaurante extraordinário e espectacular. ( Legacy winery Restaurant ) localizado em Herdades das Servas. Distante da capital Lisboa, mas conquista os clientes e a mim em especial, graças às receitas autorais do Chef Emanuel Rodríguez que valorizam e respeitam os ingredientes de maneira espectacular! Provei as Costeletas de borrego com piso de hortelã e migas de frutos secos que é simplesmente muito, mas muito saboroso. E o que tornou esta experiência autêntica foi a simpatia e simplicidade dos empregados de mesa e do próprio chef de cozinha Emanuel que em conversa particular disse: " Que trabalha com alimentos que custam caro, então procura sempre dar o seu melhor para criar algo que supere as altas expectativas dos clientes, então com diciplina e muito carinho faço pratos para que fiquem na memória dos clientes e com a preocupação de personalizar cada almoço cada jantar servido mesa a mesa, e que isto é o resultado de um longo aprendizado em restaurantes como Fasano em São Paulo-SP Brasil, Fasano las Piedras Punta del Este Uruguai, Grupo José Avillez e Penha longa Mercatto ambos em Lisboa-Portugal". Na minha opinião é difícil vermos tamanha dedicação e preocupação em saber o que os clientes pensam e também a observar o que se passa na sala e até mesmo com o atendimento a mesa.
