Really good Burgers and fair prices, I would defintely come again!

Positive Points: Sweet potatoes were awesome Normal fries are seasoned and really tasty The sour cream has an own tasty flavor (garlic) The bbq ist really good and tastes authentic smoked Really modern furnished Clean toilets Helpful service

Some little things to improve: The bread is a bit dry, with a better bread I would give defintely 5 stars The English menu were not completely in English translated I like that you can order extras on your burger but a listing of all possible extras would be great to have Maybe good to know is also that for most tourists Lemonade means a drink of Lemons not Orange Juice. I had that now several times here in Portugal and I think a short explanation in the menu would help to avoid...

A Hamburgueria da Baixa, outrora um ponto de referência em Faro para os amantes de hambúrgueres artesanais, parece ter perdido o seu brilho. A minha recente visita deixou-me profundamente desapontado, tanto com a qualidade da comida como com o serviço. Especialmente com a qualidade do serviço. Um dos melhores hambúrgueres na minha opinião deixou de fazer parte do menu, e para tentar minimizar esta situação por duas vezes (hoje a segunda vez), solicitei que substituíssem três dos ingredientes por um. Para minha surpresa retirar 3 ingredientes e acrescentar um outro apenas acresce valor monetário ao artigo. Assim acabei por pagar extra por um hambúrguer com 3 ingredientes a menos... Solicitei então, visto que iria pagar extra, que colocassem os ingredientes que pedi para retirar numa caixa take away...e aconselho todos a fazer o mesmo, apesar da funcionária ainda me questionar se queria também levar o molho da carne... As batatas apresentadas encontram-se embebidas em óleo e na sua maioria queimadas... O atendimento ao cliente deixou muito a desejar. Os funcionários mostraram-se desinteressados e pouco simpáticos, quase como se estivessem a fazer-nos um favor ao atender-nos. A Hamburgueria da Baixa, na Penha, parece ter perdido o rumo. A qualidade da comida e do serviço decaíram significativamente, tornando a experiência desagradável e desapontante. Se procura um hambúrguer artesanal de qualidade em Faro, recomendo que procure...

We only had take away from this establishment, and the burgers were juicy and delicious. Service staff speak English and Portuguese, with menus in both languages. It's clean and neat. One small issue is that they place a serviette underneath the burger in the take away packaging, and this then gets soaked with the juices causing it to stick to the bottom...
