Restaurante Tricana — Restaurant in Figueiró dos Vinhos

We went into this restaurant at 7.30 and there was only another table of 6 in. We were given a menu and waited 10 minutes to be served. There was no bruschetta or garlic bread on the menu but we were given olives and sliced bread (chargeable) I asked for a small pepperoni pizza off the menu and was told that only medium was available! My partner ordered black pig cheeks off the menu and was told this was also not available! We then ordered a large pepperoni pizza, tomato salad and batata fritas. The chips were a bowl of crisps. The restaurant started to fill up but our food was served after others that had arrived later. Me and my husband reserved table over the phone after reading the reviews how good it was. Well , I am certain I won't be back again. The time we walked in the stuff was so unprofessional, both girls were on the phone mean while our glasses were empty, hardly only table service, all the stuff were drinking, eating bread on the phone while the restaurant was full. The place was really good. First time we have been here or in Figueiró dos Vinhos. The restaurant is modern, not cramped and quite stylish. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Although the staff were nice and friendly we waited 40 minutes for our food and had I not helped myself to a menu after 10 minutes, despite booking, we would have waited longer. Perhaps when showing people to their table menus can immediately be given to the patrons so they can start to choose what they would like. The Espedada a Madeira and Bitoque a Trincana were our choices and we enjoyed them very much. The chocolate mousse was homemade and excellent... Highly recommend this restaurant if you are...
