We arrived without a reservation as a group of 4. Manuel informed us that it was reservation only however he then invited us to take a seat and put together the most delicious food of flaming sausage, meats, cheeses amongst lots of other things. The food was so great that we made another reservation for later in our holiday and Manuel promised us something different. Again we were not disappointed with the food, the steak was melt in the mouth! Tip: make a reservation, bring cash and let Manuel choose your dishes for you. There's no menu here!

Adorable restaurant steeped in local history! The host/owner is the third generation to run the restaurant, and he will serve you as he pleases - and you’ll be thrilled! We were met with very friendly English, told to make a reservation (mandatory!), and then welcomed back the next day. He served us fire roasted (at the table) sausage, perfectly rare bife (steak), and a wonderfully fresh tomato salad, along with vino verde. 20€ each to walk away stuffed, bubbly, and eager to return.

Ok, so, you need to get here. They do not speak English but that's no problem. The food is great! We didn't get a menu, we did get the private treatment. Good wine, port, meat and salada. It's a tiny sweet local restaurant and if you're not from around here, go eat there. We've paid 50 euros for an complete meal including drinks. Delicious food and a nice view. Local experience to a max.

This is a lovely Tasquina which we called in for a very late lunch by chance… our host was so accommodating and even though setting up for dinner was so ‘no problem…come in’ and suggested a lunch for 2 which was fantastic and fresh…. His local tomatoes and lettuce as well as terrific steak were terrific! All of his local guests were so friendly too… the ambience in this old building by the river is perfect and cool naturally. The facilities (WC)...
