There was a nice walk along the river in the evening as the sun set. | The owner, Paulo was extremely welcoming and friendly with plenty of time to chat. | The evening meal was abundant and we had very large portions of lamb stew and chicken cabidela. Unfortunately no room for the lovely dessert on display. | In the morning breakfast was ample with fresh bread and juice. Read moreWow - what an experience!! We arrived in Portugal and stayed at the local campsite and after searching for somewhere to have dinner we couldn’t have been more pleased.
We have a dog and I am also a vegetarian yet the owner went above and beyond.
Dogs are only allowed on the outside terrace which wasn’t open yet (we visited in May). To allow us to enjoy dinner here, they went the extra mile and carried and set a table for us outside.
When I advised I am a vegetarian this was absolutely no problem, they suggested various dishes to accommodate.
On top of this the food was AMAZING and the views were just stunning - all for such a reasonable price.
