Bliss Beach Club Faial — Restaurant in Horta

We had an unforgettable evening here, starting with friendly, attentive service from the wait staff—everyone was welcoming and genuinely seemed to care that we were enjoying our time.

The tuna steak was the star of the meal: incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. You can really tell they take pride in their ingredients and preparation. Pair that with one of their fun cocktails on the menu and you’re in for a treat. We also shared a couple of desserts, and they were top-notch—light, creative, and beautifully presented.

One thing worth noting for future visitors: there’s a grass parking lot right next to the restaurant. It’s super convenient and not widely mentioned, so keep that in mind if you’re driving in.

I ordered a cocktail that was undrinkable because there was wayyyy too much alcohol. I politely said it was too strong and they offered to exchange cocktails but then made us pay for both. We argued that the problem was their cocktail that was too strong, as I had that cocktail many times before. But they insisted on getting paid anyway for something that was not good. This for me is horrible service. It happens that food/drinks do not come out good and the restaurants/bars just remake them. But not at bliss beach club because "they have the recipes with the measurements" and we had to pay because "they used the materials".

What an absolute joy! Bliss took our dining experience to the next level. The cuisine was delicious, with a fantastic variety on the menu to choose from. The location is perfect, just a stone's throw from the beach. The staff were super friendly and went out of their way to accommodate our children, which we really appreciated.
