Best SMASH Burger I’ve ever tasted. Made me go back the same day for a second one.

Today we wanted to visit the Lagoa do Fogo but it’s closed during the day for rental scooters and cars so we decided to just grab lunch at this food truck. Hands down, this was the most delicious burger I’ve ever had in my life. After finishing we went on with our journey and visited Lago do Congro and did some sightseeing along the northern coast.

Because this burger was so delicious we decided to go back to this place, just in time because he only had enough burgers for these two double smash burgers. They were even better than the ones we had for lunch.

TIP: go for the smash or the double smash and skip the basic burger!

They also serve good coffee and nice Azorean soft drinks. No Western popular soft drinks.

Worth the stop if passing by Remedios!

Very good vintage fast food style burger (somewhat similar to In-And-Out). Option for bolo levedo instead of bun. Standard burger comes with bacon, American cheese, white onion, pickles, ketchup, and lots of mayo for 7€. Burgers are served in a wire basket and can be eaten in the picnic area or in your car (not sure if they offer to-go packaging).

Drinks include Kima soda, orange soda and plain water plus beer on tap. They also have an array of local liqueurs. They don't currently offer any non-alcoholic adult beverages like sparking water or non-alcoholic beer.

Came here after I had been in Suplexico burger house and man… these are waaaaay superior! Best cheeseburger in Ponta Delgada, period! They put suplexico to shame, honestly.

The owners are super nice. The food is amazing. The surroundings are very nice, it’s a food truck located in a Parque de Merendas with a toilet, very convenient. Also you have a route (Janela do Inferno) starting here!

I came here in a very bad weather day, strong wind, heavy rain… end up eating in the car and it was still an amazing experience.

I would say to everyone to came here, even when you have bad weather… even if the “day is ruined” you have at least these amazing burgers to warm your heart....
