AA — Restaurant in Lagos

On a positive note, the location was very nice and the server was very professional & courteous; friendly and happy to talk. I really do not like to give negative reviews but I really cannot say anything good about the quality of the food we were served. We were so hungry we ate it but it was not a pleasurable dining experience which surprised me given the reviews I had read prior to booking. We had 2 Salmon Tagliatelle in a carbonara type sauce & a Lasagna. Perhaps, the chef was off on this particular night or there was a serious malfunction in the kitchen. Essentially what we were served was packet spaghetti, lukewarm, in a bowl of pasta cooking water with a few flakes of salmon thrown in. It was not the sublime dish I was eagerly awaiting. I’d like to think we got the restaurant on a bad night but I can’t say I will return in a hurry. Restaurante bem localizado, o garçon que nos atendeu foi simpático, porém o serviço foi muito lento e a comida estava péssima. Uma dourada seca e sem sal algum, salmão sem nenuma graça e uma massa fruto di mare muito mal feito. Parecia espaguete cozido em água lavada com sal. O couvert foi a única coisa que gostamos. O local é magnífico! Adorámos a disposição da sala em quadrado; a decoração; a comida (salmão com molho de laranja e ossobuco com risotto/batata frita e petit gâteau com gelado). A equipa liderada pela Sr.ª Mónica é fantástica! Sempre atenciosos e simpáticos. A piscina, o parque para as crianças, o campo de ténis... fizeram a delícia dos pequenos e graúdos! Recomendo vivamente esta Aldeia Azul...
