Marco, the owner, is really nice and checked in on our table multiple times. However, the food here was really bad. I ordered the Algarve Pork special for €9 and it was not good. It was described by Marco as pork mixed with peppers, onions, and a sauce, but in actuality it was a stew where the meat had clearly been sitting there all day. It was dry, bland, and to be honest the meat tasted dirty. The chips were fried in dirty oil and the rice side was one scoop of plain instant white rice. The salad was ok. We asked with waiter and he just said , Noo…. is not possible to sit upstairs because for food they are serving only downstairs 🥱😴. A couple of portuguese locals seem to bookend the bar stools. The food is quite good and quite affordable. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.
